Life's a Great Balancing Act
On the first day of my Senior year, my Calculus teacher read the book Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss to a group of know-it-all teenagers. As a bit of a literary snob myself, I believed this book to be a bit overrated.
However as I read this to my children, over two decades later, I see it's brilliance. And as a recruiter, I see many people stuck in the mundane -- or worse, surrounded by strange birds. There is nothing more rewarding than a well-calculated risk.
