With more than a decade of experience in the HR space, Valonna enjoys being a utility player for any team. A fun work day might include streamlining processes for onboarding and accurate payroll before switching gears to lead workshops and collaborative sessions.

Prior to joining Slice, Valonna managed HR projects and programs in a variety of nonprofits and foundations as well as manufacturing sites. She is a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional, a certified facilitator, and a “get things done” kind of person.

As a self-proclaimed chronic learner, any topic can spark her interest, from jazz to historical fashion trends to home remedies to filmography. Her laugh is infectious, and her love for a good pair of earrings is unparalleled.
