April's Favorite Slice: Humble Pie
Born and raised in Cincinnati, April has dedicated her 20+ year career to human resources, cultivating a deep affinity for the local arts community while serving the business world. Equipped with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management, her extensive experience encompasses the entire HR lifecycle, holding pivotal roles from HR Specialist up to VP of Human Resources.
April operates as a highly skilled HR Generalist, with experience leading in compliance, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations, training & development, strategic planning, succession planning & performance management. Driven by a deep-rooted passion to inspire and grow mid-level leaders; her guiding philosophy is clear and stated as: "I don't manage people, I manage processes. I grow, inspire and lead people."
In April's spare time she enjoys traveling, volunteering with her favorite non-profits and spending as much time with her "Glam" girls who are 3 & 6, doing girly, "glam" things.
